Hi,

There are ATMs in the upper floor of the domestic terminal where you can get some NZD, there is also a Travellex Currency Exchange.

See map: https://www.christchurchairport.co.nz/media/871442/cial_level_1_map_sep18_rgb.jpg

Also, consider taking a shared 'Super Shuttle' minibus from the airport. It won't be as expensive as a taxi, they will have mobile EFTPOS/credit Card, and they will drop you to the door of you accommodation.

Mike.

-------- Original Message --------
Subject: [LCA2019 Chat] [Brian May] Bus from airport
From: Brian May <bam@debian.org>
To: chat@lists.lca2019.linux.org.au
CC:

Hello,

Thinking of getting a bus from the airport. To me it looks like it is not possible to purchase the Metrocard before arriving at the airport, which means I will need to pay the driver in NZD.

Which in turn means I should have NZD cash. However I only have AUD cash. What is the best place to get NZD? Maybe ATM at Christchurch airport?

Thanks?
