Due to travel delays (flight delayed by 24 hours!) Thomas
Schoebel-Theuer will not arrive in time to present his talk at the
Sysadmin Miniconf on Monday (Petabytes Data Migration and Load
Balancing with Football+MARS). This was 1:50pm-2:10pm, Monday, in C1.
It is now cancelled. The LCA2019 programme will hopefully be updated
shortly.

Thomas should arrive by Monday evening and would like to give his
presentation anyway, so we have created a BoF on *Tuesday* lunchtime in
C1 (same room as Sysadmin Miniconf on Monday) on Large Data Storage:

https://2019.linux.conf.au/wiki/LargeDataStorage

Our plan is that Thomas can give his prepared presentation (about 20
minutes), and then those present can discuss any related topics on large
data storage / replication, including other systems / approaches
(BigCluster, Sharding, etc). Because it is likely to be a smaller
audience, with a more relaxed time schedule, it might also be possible
to have discussion during Thomas's presentation if points come up from
the presentation.

Presentation description of Thomas's talk is still available on the
Sysadmin Miniconf site if you're interested in hearing it:

http://sysadmin.miniconf.org/presentations19.html#ThomasSchoebelTheuer

NOTE: the BoFs are *not* recorded. If you want to see this presentation
(rather than just read slides later) come to the BoF :-)

Ewen
